Steve Priddis: Principal & Lead Consultant
As Principal of PMVE (Global) Ltd., an internationally experienced retail property consultancy and advisory service, Steve is responsible for co-ordinating the activities of the practice in addition to a well developed group of associates currently tasked on property development, asset enhancement projects and shopping centre management consultancy in the UK, Central Europe, Turkey, China and Vietnam. Holding an MBA, BSc and Diplomas in Shopping Centre Management and Business Coaching, Steve leads the range of consultancy services on offer to optimise asset value for our Clients.
Previous experience inc1udes:-
• Country Head (Turkey & Western Asia) for Pradera Asset Management PLC, responsible for all "in-country" corporate activities, acquisition feasibility and asset management contracts within country.
• National Director (Greater China) of Retail Asset Management for Treasury Holdings (China), focusing on retail property acquisition, asset enhancement and Alternative Investment Market listing.
• C.E.O. of Beijing Aozhong Real Estate Company, building a Property Management Company with sole responsibility for profit and loss, strategic direction, recruitment and training and business development. Developed and launched The PLACE Shopping Centre, Beijing.
• Retail Asset Management (C.E.E.), for Cushman & Wakefield, Steve gained extensive experience of project feasibility and income projection models within emerging markets as well as undertaking a series of high profile portfolio asset acquisitions and disposals for major investment funds including Due Diligence reports on behalf of both Seller and purchaser.
Steve is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management as well as the Institute of Business Consulting. Steve is also a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, International Council of Shopping Centres, British Council of Shopping Centres. Holding an MBA, a BSc in Estate Management and Diploma in Shopping Centre Management.
Alan Cartlidge: Investment & Development Fund Manager
Alan Cartlidge has been involved in the east European property markets since 1993 when he became Bulgarian country manager and subsequently east European regional manager for property consultants D G Jones & Partners. Alan joined the property and private equity team of Charlemagne Capital (an emerging markets fund management company) in 1999 and undertook responsibility for the identification and appraisal of potential acquisitions, the subsequent management of transactions, post-acquisition operations and investment disposal oversight. Charlemagne's property funds targeted commercial (office), retail and residential opportunities and Alan played a key role in the deployment and management of over €80 million of client funds.
Although a general exposure was gained in central European markets, the primary focus of responsibility was with the south east European markets of Croatia, Romania and Bulgaria during Alan’s ten years with the company with an increasing role in the Chinese and Indian markets from 2007 to 2009.
In addition to being a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying from the University of Westminster and has an MBA from the Open University Business School.
